Dave Bishop is a Team Vicar and looks after the churches north of the A419 and east of the M5 motorway.
He was licensed to the team in April 2019, having moved from the parish of Brownhills where he had been Vicar for almost 12 years.
Prior to this, Dave served his Curacy in Derby, after training at St John’s College, Nottingham. Before ordination Dave worked in banking, mostly in his home city of Bristol. He is married to Sharon and has 6 nieces and 3 nephews. He enjoys wargaming (belonging to a club in Gloucester) and follows Bristol Rovers and Bristol Bears. He enjoys being part of a team and has a particular passion for working in the wider community, especially schools. Building relationships with the staff, children and their families are a highlight of this work.
